Fluorite with Calcite and Quartz

Item Description

Purple fluorite cubes with some glassy faces and and some stepped-growth, frosted faces nicely complimented with parallel clusters of calcite disks make for a showy, excellent and interesting elongate specimen from the famous Yaogangxian Mine. A single quartz crystal is partially wrapped by the calcite crystals. The fluorites are in good shape although the VERY minor bruising to the calcite disks are noted. A highly representative combination piece from this noted locale.
