Fluorite with Calcite and Dolomite (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A wonderful, gemmy golden yellow crystal group of cubic Fluorite with a thin "ridge" of rich purple colored Fluorite. Associated "saddle"-shaped crystals of ash colored Dolomite and small gemmy scalenohedral silvery Calcites can be seen on the piece as well. The specimen is in great shape overall, and is essentially a "floater" with no real point of attachment. The crystals are so gemmy and they were difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district.
