Item Description

A hard to find Fluorite specimen from this little known limestone quarry in the Czech Republic. It is filled with classic golden color, gemmy cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 6 mm, with pink to cream colored bladed Barite crystals and nearly white Calcite rhombs which are coated by a reddish-brown iron oxide. I have only seen a few of these pieces (only in photos), and this is the first one I've had to offer in the auctions. Frankly, it's not a killer display piece, but if you collect Fluorites, especially those from Europe, you can't afford to pass this one up. You might never see another CABINET specimen from this locality for sale, let alone for a $10 reserve in an auciton. Enjoy!
