Fluorite with Calcite (2021 find)

The Yaogangxian Mine has been producing world-class mineral specimens for a couple decades at this point, but we are still seeing new and interesting pieces coming out, including this limited discovery in 2021 that produced these beautiful Fluorite crystals that aren't quite like anything we've seen before from the locality. This small cabinet piece features a predominant sharp, rather gemmy, cube of Fluorite with a wonderful green hue measuring 3.8 cm, along with a few smaller Fluorites, which are partially coated by small compressed white "poker chip" style Calcite crystals. The piece is nearly a "floater", as it's crystallized all around, but i can see one small contact, and a point of attachment on the base, so it's not 100% undamaged. A very attractive newly mined piece from this iconic locality that would make a stellar addition to any Fluorite suite or a collection of either Chinese minerals, or specifically pieces from the Yaogangxian Mine.
