Item Description
The Bingham Mine in New Mexico might be the most well-known Fluorite producer in the entire state. This locality is world-famous for its richly colored Fluorites, which actually change colors from a vivid blue in sunlight to more of a purple hue indoors. This piece is loaded with sharp, well-formed, gemmy cubes measuring up to 1.2 cm on edge, associated with some fairly thick, white bladed crystals of Baryte measuring up to 3.7 cm, along with a small amount of steel-grey Galena scattered about. There are some contacted areas, so the piece is not pristine, but it's still a nice combo piece and it GLOWS with color when backlit.
