Item Description

A strange fluorite in association with baryte, something we do not normally see, and which gives such a nice contrast: Several, transparent, rich, almost emerald-green colored octahedral fluorite crystals are revealed between clusters of bladed, snow-white baryte crystals. The two more prominent fluorite octahedrons measure 1 and 1.3 cm on edge and really stand out against the bright white baryte. All of the exposed fluorite crystals are slightly etched yet still display good luster with a satiny sheen. The baryte crystals on this piece make for perfect contrast for the fluorite.
