Item Description
The Clara Mine (Grube Clara) is a famous mine the Black Forset, and dates back to 1726. This well known specimen producer has given collectors some beautiful Fluorite specimens over the years. Collecting on the dumps is still permitted, so specimens find their way to the market from time to time. This piece features sharp, gemmy, beautiful pinkish color cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 1.5 cm on bladed white Barite matrix. Most of the crystals are pristine and VERY gemmy! No Fluorite collection is complete without a piece from the Clara Mine. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#1145). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
