Fluorite with Arsenopyrite

Item Description

Gorgeous combination piece of classic older Chinese fluorite that is showcasing sharp, glassy, transparent to translucent gemmy purple zoned Fluorite cubes with silvery metallic Arsenopyrite on golden Muscovite. The isolated Fluorites have 3 phases of growth, an initial purple core followed by a clearish phase and then a thin final outer purple zonation. The main cube is different with a distinctive light blue hue during the second phase. The main Fluorite cube is 3.3 x 2.8 x 3.1 cm. The complimentary sharp lustrous Arsenopyrite can seen as both individual crystals and as intergrown clusters measuring 2.6 cm across with the largest crystal of 1.3 cm. Near pristine condition with only one Fluorite corner nick. The Fluorite cubes exhibit a number of internal fractures resulting in light refracting rainbows throughout.
