Here we have a fantastic full cabinet sized specimen from the Xianghualing Mine featuring dozens of incredibly sharp, well-formed, highly lustrous cubes of soft green colored Fluorite with WATER CLEAR clarity sitting on a layer of white Quartz on matrix. The largest Fluorite measures in at 2.2 cm on edge. For the most part, the piece is in excellent shape, though there are a few rough spots here and there. Some of the edges of the crystals actually have tiny modified faces, which might give the appearance of damage, but they're actually crystallized. If you look closely, you can see very slight, yet notably disticnt "phantom" zoning with varying shades of green inside. We had this one priced at $2,000 in the inventory. His accomplishments include being awarded the Fields Medal in 1966 along with being the awarded the Wolf Prize in mathematics in 2007.
