Item Description

The Huanzala mine in Peru has produced some of the most attractive and impressive fluorites from all of South America and this impressive combination specimen is from a recent find in mid-January, 2010. Vibrant, pretty pastel-pink, transparent, fluorite cuboctahedrons with frosted, intensely stepped-growth to amazingly water-clear faces are dramatically accented with striking, spinel-twinned galena crystals and mirror-bright pyrites. This very fine combination example is in excellent shape. One end is cleaved and the contacting on the back is out-of-sight. Valued at $600-800 for outstanding combination quality. Bright purple fluorescence.
