Fluorite w/ Quartz (Trimingham Coll.)

Item Description

The obscure Ransom Mine is probably best known for its fluorite specimens. Very gemmy, lustrous, intensely stepped-growth, colorless cuboctahedral crystals cover this rich and fine plate. Quartz crystal clusters are a fine accent and the contacted back is richly covered with sprays of milky quartz points. I have seen very few of these available in recent years and no more are coming out. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Pristine, except for the periphery wear. Purple fluorescence.
