Fluorite w/ Quartz & Fluorite

A beautifully framed, gemmy, emerald-green, miniature fluorite octahedron from Riemvasmaak. The exposed octo face and termination are strikingly capped by lustrous, yellow, fluorite cubes. The octahedral faces are richly covered with tiny stepped-growth, yellow, fluorite cubes or even smaller, colorless cubes. A glassy, 1.6 cm, quartz point is at one corner of the pyramid and there are more quartz crystals and yellow fluorite cubes nicely scattered around the base of this most aesthetic, unusual and rare combination from this famous locale. Very choice and pristine. Interestingly, the octahedron fluoresces purple and the yellow cubes DO NOT fluroresce.
