Item Description

Stunning, limpid, colorless fluorite cubes have striking, frosted beveled edges on this fine classic from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dal'negorsk. The cubes, to 1.8 cm on edge, are very aesthetically clustered on the unusually sculptural matrix of nubby, coral-like quartz. The fluorites on the display side and edge are nearly pristine, with only one cube having a gently bruised corner. The out-of-sight large cube on the back is cleaved. Water-clear, colorless cubes, such as this, are a highly sought-after Dal'negorsk classic and this is an excellent example with dramatic beveled edges. Ex Paul Zerfass Collection # 931.
