Fluorite, in general, is rare from Brazil and is RARE from this less well-known Brazilian State. It is EXTREMELY RARE from this obscure locality - Pedreira da Fluorspar. Gemmy, rich golden-yellow, stepped-growth fluorite cubes to 1.5 cm cover the top face of the matrix. The bottom faces hosts small fluorite crystals and VERY RARE small pyritohedrons. RARE, perhaps unique, rich, colorful and excellent combination material from the Matioli Collection. Straw-yellow SW and LW UV fluorescence. A MUST for the species or locality collector.
