Classic, highly desirable pink fluorite on pyrite from the famous early 1980s finds at the renowned Huanzala Mine, source of some of the world's finest pyrite specimens. This very aesthetic and sculptural 360-degree miniature is composed of two gem, pretty pink, intergrown cuboctahedrons jauntily set atop a striking rich field of splendent, sharp, brassy, pyritohedrons. Most fluorites from the finds were simple octahedrons, making this piece even rarer. Frosted stepped-growth prism faces dramatically complement the water-clear terminations and single modified corner face. Purple fluorescence.
