Item Description
Glassy, translucent to transparent, mint-green, fluorite cuboctahedrons are aesthetically intergrown on this very fine and rare large combination from this ancient fluorite mine. The large crystals for the locale, to 6.8 cm, have striking preferential hematite inclusions along with clusters of chalcopyrite crystals. A bonus are the RARE glassy gypsum blades embedded in crystal faces. The face of the right crystal is cleaved, but it's certainly not much of a detraction to this excellent and rare combination. Purple fluroescence. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. A fine display piece.
