Item Description

A showy and excellent multi-sided association specimen from this famous Hardin County mine. Nifty modified galena cubes, to 1.4 cm, are aesthetically attached to one side of the mounded cluster of intergrown pretty purple, translucent, stepped-growth fluorite cubes with waxy luster faces. Scattered gemmy rubyjack sphalerite crystals and very tiny brassy chalcopyrites are fine accessories to this classic combination from the Ted Bartels Collection. Acquired from Ross Lillie of North Star Minerals in August, 1993.
