Fluorite w/ Dolomite, Calcite & Marcasite floater

A rare, outstanding and pristine 360-degree small cabinet floater fluorite combination from the famous Moscona Mine of Asturias. The front of the sculptural tapering wedge is covered with densely intergrown, gem, golden-yellow fluorite cubes, to 1.5 cm. Tiny marcasites are also included within the fluorite cubes. A 1.2 cm glassy calcite rhomb is jauntily perched on the crest of the piece. The base and back are dramatically different. The back is richly covered with sparkly marcasite microcrystals, which in turn are richly sprinkled with uncommon pretty pearlescent saddle-shaped dolomite rhombs. A couple more calcite rhombs are a nice accent and the bottom is also peppered with dolomite rhombs. This impressive and rare combination displays beautifully on both sides without aid. Striking zoned ghostly white fluorescence.
