Item Description
Mineral specimens are RARE, especially fluorite specimens of this excellent quality, from this old polymetallic-fluorite mining area of the Czech portion of the historic Erzgebirge. This striking, rich and colorful mounded small cabinet of glassy, lustrous, translucent to transparent, apple-green cubes is dominated by the impressive pristine 2.3 x 2.1 x 2.0 cm cube. Scattered small chalcopyrites are a fine accessory. The back of the piece is nearly totally covered with coated chalcopyrite crystals. Blue-violet fluorescence. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired in 1992. VERY RARE fluorite in this richness and quality from this old locale.
