Classic and showy combination small cabinet from the well-known deposits at Melchor Muzquiz. Beautiful, typical for the locale gemmy light purple fluorite cubes, to 3.3 cm, are nicely accented with darker edge phantoms and satin lustre stepped-growth faces. The densely intergrown cubes are strikingly complemented by the contrasting glassy, colorless, tabular celestine spearpoints and patches of snow-white drusy strontianite. These are really complex and interesting in person, and exceptionally 3-dimensional! Only one bruised celestine is certainly only a modest detraction to this excellent 360-degree combination, of a very old classic style. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired in 1999. Valued $1200
