Item Description

A dramatic, aesthetic and excellent large combination piece from the famous Denton Mine. The sculptural, two-tiered piece is composed of striking, translucent, highly pronounced stepped-growth, rich grape-purple fluorite cubes with silky faces. Tiny, gem rubyjack sphalerite crystals and rich coatings of tiny, gemmy, calcite rhombs are superlative contrasting accents. The coup de grace is the adorably placed, 2.0 cm, gemmy, amber calcite rhomb. Faint purple fluroescence. Ex Ross Lillie Collection # 0025 and collected by a drillman in the Bahama orebody in 1992. Fairly valued at $1250-1500. Choice large combination material.
