Item Description

A very nifty and aesthetic combination piece from this well-known mine and the Paco Gutierrez Collection. Glassy, tranclucent, lavender fluorite cubes are artistically intergrown and have frosted faces. A sharp, 1.2 cm, tabular, hexagonal, calcite crystal with light oxide tinting is strikingly perched on the upper right hand corner and the piece is beautifully accented with the starkly contrasting, preferential fields of intensely sparkly, iridescent, pyrite microcrystals. The calcite looks like a fluorapatite crystal! To top it off, there are also scattered beta-style quartz crystals. The noted periphery wear along the top and left edge is certainly only a modest detraction to this very fine and showy combination. Purple fluorite and orange-pink calcite fluorescence.
