Item Description

A sculptural and aesthetic large fluorite combination from this noted Asturias locale. Two generations of calcite are richly and dramatically set on the mounded cluster of gemmy golden-yellow fluorite cubes. Nailhead calcite crystals, dominated by the 2.9 cm isolated crystal are covered by a second generation of sparkly, sugary drusy calcite. The calcites fluroesce a modest pink and the fluorites do not fluoresce. The piece displays beautifully without aid and is nearly pristine, with only a modest bit of periphery wear on the left side.
