A true classic from the Shangbao Mine. This particular style came out in the early to mid 2000s, and hasn't been seen since. Dozens of very sharp, highly lustrous, VERY GEMMY crystals of Fluorite are covering the underlying matrix to create a showy, three-dimensional, excellent quality display specimen. The crystals show a lovely blue-green hue in good lighting, and some of them are so transparent, that you can see through them to the matrix underneath. The habit it cubic, but you can see how the crystals are "built up" or "stacked" to create a beautiful repeating patterns of right angles. For a large cabinet display specimen, the piece is in remarkably fine condition with only a few minor imperfections that you really can't see from the display side.
