Fluorite (Unusual phantoms!)

Item Description

This is a highly phantomed, sharp cubic fluorite specimen from old 1990s finds here, at what later became a famous fluorite locality and has since ebbed and waned in production. This piece has incredibly sharp crystals, you can cut your fingers on the edges, to 3.8 cm. It is a study in contrasts between the starkly cubic green fluorite, and the phantoms within - which seem to have formed by a thin coating of clay or siderite atop a previous fluorite generation. It is a bizarre, unique look, we have not seen replicated in over 20 years from this mine. The video says it all!
