Item Description
Graceful, curving purple fluorites to 2.8 cm across "gently" drape over the top of a pastel green fluorite base beneath. These fascinating fluorite crystals actually show CURVES and curvature is highly unusual in fluorite! It comes form a series of small pockets in 2012- 2013, which I chased through several cities in China to obtain. Smaller specimens of this quality were uncommon, as most of it came out in big heavy plates which we then trimmed up over the years. For the size, this is a nice piece that shows off the unusual style of crystallization, and the color contrast. Pieces like this were valued at $1000-plus even when they came out, now a decade ago.
