Item Description
These are some of the most distinctive and unique Chinese Fluorite specimens that I have seen. They have a very interesting color which in reflected light shows a golden-yellow hue, but with transmitted light, one can see a brighter/richer yellow color, and some have small patches of purple as well. Upon close inspection, one can see the piece is filled with sharp, distinct, gemmy cubic crystals to create a very attractive "mound". This is certainly uncommon for Fluorite, and really stands out amongst the wide variety of Chinese Fluorites that have come out over the last 10-12 years. When the piece is backlit, the combination of yellow and purple creates a cool reddish-pink "rose" hue, that is rarely seen in Fluorite!
