Item Description
A lovely crystal group of rather gemmy and lustrous cubic Fluorite with crystals measuring up to 5 mm on edge. The Fluorite crystals are mostly a golden-yellow hue, but there are small patches of a rarely seen red hue under the surface, creating a very attractive overall piece. The Fluorites are so gemmy and they were difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. A couple small associated "saddle"-shaped crystals of Dolomite can be seen on the edge of the piece. A very worthwhile and eye-catching Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district.
