Fluorite (unique color) on Quartz

Item Description

Unique, rich rose-pink fluorite octahedrons are richly and densely clustered on the sculptural, large, triangular quartz matrix from early 2000s finds at the Navidad Mine in Durango, Mexico (same mine that produced the above listed Creedite specimen). The beautiful, translucent, waxy luster octahedrons reach 1.8 cm and all of the crystals in the interior are pristine. Purple LW UV fluorescence. Ex John Whatley Collection, a well-known Georgia collector (1939-2022) and acquired in 2002. An excellent, colorful, rich and showy large example of the species and locale.
