Item Description

An attractive small cabinet Fluorite specimen from a discovery a few years ago at the Navidad Mine. These recent finds have given collectors a chance to get their hands this desirable material with the lovely pinkish colored crystals. While these crystals are more a purplish-pink and a not a reddish-pink like their European Alpine counterparts, it's still a very pleasing hue, and certainly distinctive for this locality. The crystals on this specimen show classic octahedral form and with the classic purplish-pink hue. They are rather gemmy / translucent and the largest crystal measures 1.2 cm on edge. Only a little roughness around the edges where it was removed from the pocket wall. From a prominent collection that we purchased from a collector in the Midwest a few months ago.
