Item Description

Most people don't associate Arizona with Fluorite specimens, and pieces from the Homestake-Jack Pot Mine are not commonly seen on the market. Even less is available than several years ago, as nothing has come out in a while. This small cabinet display specimen features attractive, gemmy, green, octahedral crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 2.8 cm across on Quartz matrix. The Fluorites are undamaged on the front, though there are a few contacted areas on the back. It should be noted that while the Fluorite crystals are octahedral in shape, they actually have hundreds of tiny modifying faces all over. A really cool specimen of these hard to find specimens from this old gold mine in northwestern Arizona (near the Nevada Border). Priced at $950 in the inventory.
