Item Description
The wall of this sculptural, large, V-shaped specimen is lined with hundreds of transparent, intergrown light lilac-colored fluorite cubes in protruding clusters above the floor of oxide-tinted fluorite crystals. These cubes have moderate purple fluorescence. A second generation of clusters of tiny cream-colored fluorite cubes in the wall fluoreces light yellow. Very interesting. A fine example from this less well-known fluorite mine, active from 1955-1994. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
