Fluorite (''Tanzanite Fluorite'') with Calcite

A beautiful piece of what has been dubbed "Tanzanite Fluorite" for their beautiful purple color in indoor lighting, which shifts to more of a blue-purple color in sunlight, reminiscent of the purple and blue colors seen in Tanzanite crystals. Please note that there is no Tanzanite on this specimen, the nickname is indicative of the color. This piece features many fine quality, very well-formed, sharp crystals of gemmy richly colored Fluorite that show a combination of cubic and dodecahedral faces measuring up to 9 mm across associated with a rarely seen 4.5 cm doubly-terminated, translucent, white/colorless colored scalenohedral Calcite crystal on a Quartz covered matrix. Most of the Fluorite crystal are undamaged, but the front of the Calcite has a contacted area where a Fluorite crystal once grew and was broken away upon removal from the pocket. These came out in 2017, and not since, so don't miss out, as we may never see them again. Valued at $950.
