Fluorite (''Tanzanite Fluorite'') on Quartz with Quartz ''casts''

A very impressive LARGE CABINET display specimen of what has been dubbed "Tanzanite Fluorite" for their beautiful purple color in indoor lighting, which shifts to more of a blue-purple color in sunlight, reminiscent of the purple and blue colors seen in Tanzanite crystals. The name of these specimens borrows Tanzanite merely as an adjective, and please note that there is no Tanzanite on this specimen, the nickname is indicative of the color. This piece features a handful fine quality, very well-formed, sharp crystals of gemmy richly colored Fluorite that show a combination of cubic and dodecahedral faces measuring up to 2.4 cm across sitting on a plate of attractive, silvery colored stubby Quartz crystals, along with unusual sugary white "casts" of Quartz replacing an unknown mineral. The Fluorite crystals are in great condition, and I can't find any damage, outside of the periphery where the piece has been sawn (along with underside). These came out in 2017, and none since, so don't miss out, as we may never see them again. Valued $2,500.
