Fluorite (''Tanzanite Fluorite'')

A beautiful piece of what is colloquially referred to as "Tanzanite Fluorite" from China. Now, don't be fooled by the name, these Fluorite have been given this nickname for the fact that they resemble Tanzanite in color. They have a beautiful purple color in indoor lighting, which shifts to more of a blue-purple color in sunlight, reminiscent of the purple and blue colors seen in Tanzanite crystals, but make no mistake, there is no Tanzanite on the specimen. This is a beautiful piece of this fairly hard to find material featuring few fine quality, very well-formed, sharp crystals of gemmy richly colored Fluorite that show a combination of cubic and dodecahedral faces measuring up to 1.8 cm across on a Quartz covered matrix. The main Fluorite crystal on the front is in good condition, with no major damage I can see with the naked eye, but the crystals on the back are partially incomplete. These came out in 2017, and not since, so don't miss out, as we may never see them again.
