A lovely example of these contemporary Fluorites that have been dubbed "Tanzanite Fluorite" for their beautiful purple color in indoor lighting, which shifts to more of a blue-purple color in sunlight, reminiscent of the purple and blue colors seen in Tanzanite crystals. I will point out that there is no Tanzanite present on this specimen, the nickname is simply indicative of the color. This piece features many fine quality, very well-formed, sharp crystals of gemmy richly colored Fluorite that show a combination of cubic and dodecahedral faces measuring up to 1.0 cm across on a Quartz covered matrix. Most of Fluorite crystals are in good condition, while the others have minor roughness. These came out in 2017, and none since, so don't miss out, as we may never see them again.
