Item Description
These distinctive specimens have been dubbed "Tanzanite Fluorite" for their beautiful purple color in indoor lighting, which shifts to more of a blue-purple color in sunlight, reminiscent of the purple and blue colors seen in Tanzanite crystals. They are some of the most instantly recognizable Fluorites from any Chinese locality, which is really saying something considering the large number of the Fluorites that have come out of the country in the last 25 years or so. Please note that there is no Tanzanite on this specimen, the nickname is indicative of the color. This piece features several fine quality, very well-formed, sharp crystals of gemmy richly colored Fluorite that show a combination of cubic and dodecahedral faces measuring up to 1.2 cm on a Quartz covered matrix. Very good condition, though a few imperfections can be see with magnification. These came out in 2017, and not since, so don't miss out, as we may never see them again.
