Fluorite (superb pattern)

Item Description

A highly unusual fluorite from any mine! The specimen features a large cuboctahedron single crystal with thousands of intricate steps that create an incredibly high luster. The main color is a unique greenish-yellow, which is difficult to capture accurately in photos, however, showcase good especially when backlit. What truly sets this piece apart are the indigo-blue zones along the edges of the crystal and the remarkable purple layer near the termination. This purple layer, located on the cubic face, is adorned with starburst patterns—an incredibly rare and fascinating feature. The crystallization process behind this piece seems extraordinarily complex, with different colors likely resulting from varying trace elements on different crystal faces, influenced by the pressure and temperature conditions during formation.
