Fluorite stalactite (fluorescent)

Item Description

Fluorite stalactites are uncommon from any locale. This striking and fine piece is from the famous Yaogangxian Mine and consists of stacked, intergrown, lustrous and translucent, gray cubes to 1.5 cm. VERY interestingly, one side is a lighter shade, than the other and it is slightly curved! Both ends were contacted against the vug walls, which is certainly not a detraction. A most impressive, 360-degree piece. Moderate purple fluorescence.
