Item Description

A classic and very showy combination specimen from the renowned Minerva #1 Mine. A glassy, transparent color-zoned fluorite is beautifully complimented by a rubyjack sphalerite ball accented with tiny, strontianite crystal wheatsheeves. The fluorite and sphalerite rest on starkly contrasting snow-white barite. The amber to blue to purple color-zoning is riveting. Purple fluorescence on the fluorite and bright white on the strontianite. Ex George Feist Collection and mined calculated 1995, just prior to mine closing. Excellent combination material. Valued $500-650.
