Fluorite & Sphalerite (Ross Lillie Coll.)

Item Description

A 2.0 cm fluorite cube is aesthetically set on matrix covered with scintillating ruby jack sphalerite crystals, smaller fluorites and a single galena on this showy and excellent combination from the Ross Lillie Collection # 0593. The fine cube is water-clear with frosted faces and has beautiful darker purple edge phantoms surrounding the violet core. Self-collected by Ross in February, 1980 and was "One of the first combination specimens found in new orebody. Approx. 30' from shaft."
