Item Description

A dramatic, old-time, CABINET, combination specimen from the famous Minerva #1 Mine and the Philadelphia Academy of Sciences Collection. Two, dramatic, checkerboard-patterned, pretty purple fluorite cubes to 4.8 cm are the focal point of this impressive piece. Innumerable smaller fluorite cubes on the front AND back cover the L-shaped matrix of sparkly rubyjack sphalerite and massive limestone. A striking preferential coating of drusy calcite really adds character to this imposing, sculptural specimen. Super purple fluorescence.
