Item Description
The Chumar Bakhoor locality near Nagar in Pakistan has been one of the most iconic gem crystal localities in Pakistan, and is the most significant Fluorite producer in all of the pegmatites in Pakistan and Afghanistan. For several years, there have been some superb Fluorites coming out of this locality, which not only have superior color and size, but also form in incredibly gemmy to water clear crystals! The stone in this rough and cut set is an outstanding 112 carat "Modified Cut Corner Rectangle Brilliant" cut gem with INTESNE seafom green color and nearly eye-clean clarity! Great color and size for the locality, and for Fluorite in general. The accompanying crystal is an average octahedral green crystal with fairly sharp faces and moderate gemminess. The stone is by far the better half of the set, and it's worth considering for anybody who collects the material.
