Item Description

This is a wonderful thumbnail specimen of the beautiful Fluorites from Grant County, New Mexico. This piece host several RICHLY colored, strong reddish-purple octahedral crystals measuring up to 1.3 cm, sitting on Fluorite matrix. You can see there is some colored zoning inside the Fluorites when backlit, as there is a light greenish-yellow hue underneath the purple. No major damage and very attractive in person. A great piece for a fan of thumbnails, Fluorites or minerals of New Mexico.
