Item Description
Mineral specimens are VERY RARE from this aggregate quarry, which is very near to the famous and abandoned Stoneco Lime City Quarry, famous for excellent celestine, strontianite and fluorite specimens. The quarries have similar geology. A gorgeous, gem, very glassy and lustrous, 2.0 cm, amber fluorite cube with some inclusions is aesthetically set in the vug lined with sparkly calcite microcrystals. Ghostly white fluorescence. The back of the limestone matrix has been sawed to enhance the fine display quality. A RARE and outstanding fluorite from this less well-known quarry from the Robert Nowakowski Collection and was collected in May, 2014. A MUST for the species or locality collector.
