Here we have a good sized crystal of these attractive and colorful Fluorite specimens that date back to the mid 2000s. This discovery honestly did not produce a lot of specimens, and then they dried up. For their size, color and quality they truly don't get enough credit for, especially coming from Morocco. If you're a Fluorite collector, you really should have a good Taourirt specimen in your collection. This piece is a robust, gemmy soft purple colored crystal of Fluorite, free of matrix. The back of the specimen has a separation mark where another Fluorite grew, but it's also partially is recrystallized ("re-healed") in areas, so good shape overall. It's complete on the front, and displays quite nicely. Certainly one of the best larger individual crystals we've had to offer from this locality, and good quality to boot. Value $700.
