Fluorite (rare locality specimen)

These attractive and colorful Fluorite specimens date back to the mid 2000s. The discovery did not produce a lot of speicmens, and then they dried up. For their size, color and quality they truly don't get enough credit for the size, color and quality. If you're a Fluorite collector, you really should have a good Taourirt specimen in your collection. This piece features a robust, gemmy purple crystal of Fluorite, free of matrix. The back of the specimen is recrystallized ("re-healed"), and its complete on the front, so it's a borderline "floater". Certainly one of the larger individual crystals I've seen from this locality, and good quality to boot.
