Item Description
A very good sized, sharp, well-formed cubic specimen of Fluorite from the lesser known Wheal Mary Ann in Cornwall. This is a single crystal group, free of matrix with a soft green color and a gentle matte luster on the surface. Internally the crystal is fairly gemmy, and if you turn it on its side, you can see slight color zoning. Small pyramidal Quartz crystals on the surface of the Fluorite makes for a nice touch. The color is a bit more of a golden hue towards the center / base of the piece. There are a few small nicks, but overall it's in great shape, and one rarely sees crystals of this size from this locality. If you collect Fluorites or minerals from Cornwall, don't miss out on this excellent small cabinet to add to your collection. Valued at $600.
