Fluorite (rare locality specimen)

These attractive and colorful Fluorite specimens were coming out in the mid 2000s. In my mind, they truly don't get enough credit for the size, color and quality. Sadly, the discovery was quite limited, so very few great pieces were available, and then they dried up. If you're a Fluorite collector, you really should have a good Taourirt specimen in your collection. This piece features sharp, well-formed, gemmy purple cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 1.7 cm, sitting on white Baryte matrix. There are some dings on the front/display side, so the piece is not perfect, but it's a good quality eye-catching specimen for any fan of Fluorites or Moroccan minerals.
