Item Description
A rarely seen Fluorite specimen from the Taourirt Mine in north-eastern Morocco. This piece is a showy and fine quality, miniature sized display specimen hosting several, GEM quality, soft purple colored cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 1.5 cm on edge, sitting on a chalky semi-spherical group of Barite. The Fluorites are literally WATER CLEAR and look beautiful up close and in person. There is a spot on the lower portion of the piece where some of the Fluorites are contacted/broken, so the piece is not damage free, but it's still a very good example of these incredibly hard to find specimen. If you collect worldwide Fluorites, you definitely need a Taourirt specimen in your collection, and this one is aesthetic to boot! The piece sits nicely on its own without the aid of a base or clay.
